How to Use Web-OPAC to Search Books
WEB OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) allows you to search for available books in the library from anywhere. Follow the steps below to access and use the system effectively.
To login to Web OPAC, open an internet browser and:
- Type https://www.sggscc.ac.in/ then click on Online Library
- OR directly open Library by typing:
Enter your Membership ID in both the User ID and Password fields to access your account.
Click on Search Book option to select your preferred language: English, Hindi, or Punjabi.
Go to Advance Search and select any search criteria:
- Title
- Author
- Subject
- ISBN
- Call No.
- Accession No.
To request any new book to the Librarian:
Click on Requisition → Send Requisition, fill out the form, and submit your request.
Find out what books you have borrowed, return dates, fines, etc. by clicking on MyAccount.
